Grammy Awards نام مراسم اهدای جوایزی است که توسط آکادمی ملی علوم و هنرهای ضبط، به دستاوردهای برجسته در تولید موسیقی تعلق میگیرد.

از بین سه مراسم بزرگ موسیقی جهان، گرمی بزرگترین آنها است. ارزش جایزه گرمی برابر با جایزه اُسکار در هالیود و جایزه اِمی در تلویزیون است.

این مراسم رده بندی خاص در ۳۰ سبک مختلف موسیقی همانند: پاپ، راک، آر اند بی و رپ است. رای تمامی داوران در نتیجه نهایی این مراسم تأثیر دارد.

امسال قرار است برای پنجاه هشتمین بار این مراسم شبکه CBS پخش میشود. لازم به ذکر است این مراسم برای اولی بار در تاریخ 9 مه سال 1959 برگزار شد!
